A massive thanks from the committee goes to ALL entrants to IGBA 2021 making the return to exhibiting our favoured type canary “The Gloster” a positive success.
With UK exhibitors only attending the event this year, due to the restrictive regulations on bird movements both into and out of the country, leading to the absence of our overseas members, numbers were expected to fall. How far was anyone’s guess.
In the final analysis Sue Roome, Show Secretary, produced a catalogue that identified:
TOTAL EXHIBITS = 933
Champion Exhibits = 725
Novice Exhibits = 204
Junior Exhibits = 4
Congratulations to those that scooped the awards, very well done to ADRIAN SHORT in becoming only the third recipient of both Best Gloster and Best Opposite head awards since the formation of the IGBA.
