On Sunday November 9th Swansea Gloster society held its 14th show. Our judges on the day were Keith Baker and Martyn Fairfield who did an amazing job and we thank them greatly.

After working their way through 250 entries they whittled them down and picked a winner.

The winner was a lovely Blue corona exhibited by Keith Onions. Well done Keith.

Best Opposite Head was awarded to a very tidy TPD consort that was exhibited by Steve Hill. Well done Steve.

Best Champion Buff went to Steve Hill with a Buff corona. Steve also picked up Best Champion Yellow with a Yellow corona.

Keith Onions also took Best Champion Cinnamon with a lovely Cinnamon corona.

In the Novice section the winner was Roy Henry who took the award with a TPD consort. Roy also took Best Novice Buff with a Buff corona.

Best Novice Opposite Head was won by Luke Martin. Who was exhibiting at our show for the first time. Luke took the award with a Cinnamon corona which also won Best Novice Cinnamon.

Best Novice Yellow was won by Phil Goss who took the award with a Yellow corona. Phil also won Best Novice White to allied with a Fawn corona.

Best junior was won by Georgia Thomas who was exhibiting her birds for the very first time. She also won Best Junior Opposite Head.

We would like to thank Kevin McCarthy for donating a pair of birds that were  raffled. Thank you Kevin.

Thank you to our president Dominic Avo for all his hard work every year it’s much appreciated by us all. Thank you for buying a bag of seed and gifting it to our junior exhibitor Georgia, very kind of you.

Thank you to the pet superstore for their donations of seeds and egg food for raffle prizes.

Thank you Andrew , Dani and Liam for cooking breakfast and dinner for our judges and exhibitors and supplying everyone with free tea and coffee all day.

We are the only all Gloster show in Wales so the support we receive is much appreciated as we are all trying to do our bit for the fancy. With that a big thank you to our exhibitors who made the journey , we know some of you travelled several hours to come & exhibit your birds and we are very grateful.

That goes for our judges as well Keith and Martyn who travelled long distances Thank you gentleman it’s much appreciated and was great to see you both.

It was great to see returning exhibitors and new ones at the 2025 show, thank you all.
