The Gloster Club Comunitat Valencia was formed in 2019 and in the 2 years following the formation the club has attracted close to 80 members.

2021  provided the first opportunity we had to hold the club’s first show and on the 4th December the three judges, Pere Massegur [Espana] Eugene McComb & Edward Loughran [Irlanda] had an entrance of 744 Glosters from 73 exhibitors to judge.

The judge final decision on Best Gloster in Show was given to Javier Casado Gonzalez well presented Unflighted TPD Corona Hen, with the Best Opposite award going to Francisco Jose Cotes Catalan Unflighted Variegated Buff Consort Hen.

Judge Report:

Myself and Eugene McComb travelled from Ireland after being invited to judge the 1st Gloster Show in Valencia Spain on 4th December ‘21.

It was a pleasure to be there and we enjoyed it immensely. Everything was well organised and went off without a hitch. Eugene and I were well looked after by club members and made to feel very welcome.

Anyone invited to judge I highly recommend you doing so as it’s a great weekend. The Glosters are of high quality.

Special mention to Francisco Cortes Catalan for organising our stay in Valencia. Thank you. Myself and fellow judges Eugene and Pere Massegur of Spain were very honoured to judge the First Gloster Show and wish them best of luck for future shows. Hopefully removal of covid restrictions will make things easier.
