The East Netherlands show was held in Hoofddorp on Saturday 13^th November. The judges were Darren Gill, Trevor Goddard, Dave Rands and Kev Stoakes, who had the difficult job of placing around 850 quality birds. In addition to the Dutch entry there were also entries from Belgium and Germany.

The winning bird was an isabel corona from the stud of Michel Hommerson, an eye-catching bird which excelled in type, particularly the well rounded body.

Michel’s team also received awards for best flighted corona with a flighted green corona cock that was closely considered for Best Corona, as well as Best Green, Best Any Other Colour and Best White. He won 8 classes.

Best Consort and Best Variegated were awarded to Danny Close’s beautiful variegated consort cock. He had 2 class winners.

Best Junior in show was Rens van der Ham.

Other class winners were R. Stubenitsky (8 wins and Best Pair), Bert Munneke (3), T.v.d.Wereld, A. Twigt (2 and Best Light), Comb. H. Mels (3 and Best Cinnamon), P.J.L. Slootweg, A. Kivits, L.J. Alkema (2), Rudy Polhout (3), E. Wagemakers (4 and Best Yellow), C. Van Os (2), F & J Willems (2), T. Cresens (3 and best flighted consort) and B. Landman (Best Grizzle)
