The IGBA committee are pleased to report that it has received the following mail from Alan Dean Secretary to the CIGB. Their request is very clear to its affilaites of which IGBA is but one.
Members with any subject matter to place before the CIGB are requested to send subject matter in to admin@igba.co.uk and they will be forwarded to our Representative Shaun Gardiner for tabling at the CIGB next meetingÂ
Dear Confederation Members,
Firstly, may I thank you all for your support for the three officials nominated at the inaugural meeting of the Confederation of International Gloster Breeders (CIGB). They are Paul Burnett (Chairman), Shaun Gardiner (Treasurer) and me, Alan Dean (Secretary).Â
I know that we are all fully committed to the success of the CIGB, as I am sure you all are.
Secondly, may I thank the Algerian Gloster club for their Facebook post announcing the formation and inaugural meeting of the Confederation.Â
I encourage you all to repost this Facebook article to drum up as much attention to the Confederation as possible.
The main purpose of this email is to obtain from you all topics for discussion at the next CIGB meeting.Â
These topics will form the agenda for the next meeting. We would like to move quickly to get a meeting arrange and your input is vital.Â
I encourage you all to send in up to 5 topics for discussion.Â
I will gather all your replies and collate your responses to formulate a prioritized agenda.Â
Once this is done, I will ask IGBA to organize a zoom meeting and send out the meeting invite to all Confederation members.
We would like to meet before the end of September 2026, so I respectfully ask you to have your bullet points for discussion back to me by the 20th of September.
Don’t sit back thinking someone else will do the work, it is your chance to make a difference, don’t complain if you haven’t made an input.
