THERE IS A POTENTIAL 50 PHYSICAL ATTENDEES, AGAIN BE PATIENT WHEN REGISTERING, YOU WILL RECEIVE A NUMBERED DOCUMENT SET INCLUDING VOTING SLIPS. PLEASE KEEP POSSESSION OF THESE DOCUMENTS THEY WILL NOT BE REPLACED IF MISLAID.
REGISTRATION STARTS @ 09:30hrs UK time for meeting start at 10:00 hrs
The Proposals that will be placed before the Members at AGM on the 22nd March 2026 are as follows:
- Annual Accounts and Subscriptions :
A) That the accounts for the financial year ending 31st December2025 as presented be received and adopted.
B) That 2025 Individual Membership Subscription Rates remain for the Years 2026-7
C) That 2025 Affiliation Fees remain for the year 2026
2. For the members show rules to change to:
A) Expand the engagement of Overseas Panel Judges from 1 to 2.
B) Regulate Judge expense claim to be accommodation & meals expense only.
C) Change the time barred term from judging the Members show from 5 yrs to 3yrs.
3. That formal approval be given to the formation of an Overseas Committee reporting directly to the Main Committee comprising representatives of the IGBA Overseas Affiliates.
4. That the IGBA undertakes a restructuring of its constitutional and organizational framework with the objective of assuming the future role of sole international governing body for the Gloster Canary Fancy.
There will be no floor amendments to proposals or acceptance of new proposals after 1st March 2026.
The IGBA committee asks current members to:
- Physically attend the 2026 AGM to partake in these motions, or
- Apply for a Zoom Attendance Connection, email admin@igba.co.uk stating Name(s) Ring Number(s) requirement.
- Either method constitutes attendance and voting ability at the AGM.
- There will be no proxy voting.
IF you are unable to do either 1) or 2) and want to pass comment on the motions or have questions relating to these proposals, please submit them to admin@igba.co.uk to arrive by 14th March 2026
Voting Slips for all of the proposals will be available on the day for attending fully paid members to cast their YES – NO-ABSTAIN Vote,

The name of the organization remains the same, its global reputation over 60 years dictates no change.
The IGBA continues as an unincorporated not for profit organization with:
- an autonomous governing sector with no jurisdiction over the IGBA activity / operating section.
- an autonomous IGBA activity section operating as current with no jurisdiction over the Governing Sector.
NO IGBA Officer other than 1 (One) representative to become involved in the Governing Sector
