The 8th European Gloster Show, held in Pedara on the 8th and 9th of November 2025, was a well-organised and enjoyable event, bringing together Gloster enthusiasts from across Italy. With an entry of almost 430 Gloster canaries, the exhibition offered a diverse selection of birds across both the Novice and Champion sections, providing a valuable opportunity for breeders to showcase their birds.

I had the pleasure of judging the show alongside Dr. Ciro Verde. Throughout the weekend, we carried out our duties with professionalism and enthusiasm, ensuring that each entry received fair and consistent evaluation.

Beyond the competition itself, the show fostered a positive and friendly atmosphere. Breeders engaged in open discussion, shared insights, and enjoyed the social aspect that events like this so often provide. The passion within the Gloster community was evident throughout the hall.
