THIS IS A NOTICE TO ALL MEMBERS
With effect from August 2025 IGBA will have 2 suppliers of rings.
The supplier of SPLIT RINGS will be “The Bird Ring Company” located in West Sussex.
We had some SPLIT RING quality issues in 2025 this change will return IGBA Split Rings to International Standards. Orders will be received and processed as previous years
Also the good news is that the lead time for you to get your rings will reduce from the 7 week time shown in the table below to a maximum 5 weeks for orders placed at the beginning of the month, to 1 week for orders placed at the end of the month. We might even be able to extend the closing date beyond 31st May, we will keep this under review. Bulk Orders will go to the Ring Steward [Keith Baker] for despatch to the member.
The Bird Ring Company will not accept IGBA members ringing direct to place an order. Just go to the IGBA shop, place your order and you will receive our negotiated pricing.
For Closed Rings a bulk order will continue to be placed with Coditech on the last day of the month, starting on 31st December the final order being placed on 31st May in any year.
Delivery of rings to the Ring Steward [Keith Baker] from Coditech usually takes approximately 14 days. Once received the rings will be immediately despatched to the member.
If the Ring Steward receives your order early in the month, please be aware there will be a longer lead time.

The obvious advice is to get your ring order(s) in well in advance of your requirement and send it in during the later days of the month to get your order in the shortest lead time.
