It is with enthusiasm that I accepted the invitation to judge the first IGBA exhibition of the CLUB PRIVATE OF BIRD FANS (Morocco).
I did not hesitate to accept the invitation, because I think it is essential that everyone contributes their grain of sand is the only way for the Gloster develop all over the world.
Morocco a true and admirable experience in every sense.
It is easy to feel the passion they have for the Gloster at the skin, possibly the breed with more breeders in the world.
The space was very well organized, I noticed that the organization was concerned with all the details, a month before the committee visited the neighboring country Spain (IGBA Madrid) to gather the mechanisms and study processes, way of doing from the Spanish colleague.
It is not surprising that everything went so well and so healthily.
The birds were in good condition, with feather in very good condition overall.
When I was choosing the best consort, a cinnamon female of good size, harmonious, with excellent feather and a TPE male with a amazing phenotype and quite balanced in all aspects, stood out. The decision fell on the male difficult to see in many exhibitions, it would be unfair not to award this bird with the minimum, best opposite.
Among the corona birds, 3 birds stood out (3 hens), a cinnamon, a buff and a white.
After a more detailed evaluation, I ended up rewarding the work done with the white, which presented an excellent quality of feather combined with a very complete corona on the front with an excellent drawing.
The white ended up being crowned best corona of the Expo.
In short term, the horizon will be smiling for the Gloster in Morocco. If I may allow myself just two points of improvement. At the future, it would be interesting for each breeder to exhibit their birds on his own IGBA type cages, and second, I invite the club to join the IGBA UK.
Why not? 😉
Congratulations to all for a real celebration around the Gloster.
Keep improving guys!
