Importing Gloster canaries has been a monumental step in my breeding career, but what makes this achievement even more special is my collaboration with one of the world’s greatest Gloster breeders, Rene Alssema.
Rene is not only a dear friend but also my mentor in the art of Gloster breeding. This recent importation doesn’t just bring exceptional bloodlines to my aviary—it also carries with it the 58 years of genetic expertise that Rene has meticulously honed.
Now, under my care, these years of legacy will evolve into 59, 60 years, and beyond.

Rene’s breeding program, cultivated over decades, is celebrated for its remarkable consistency in producing birds with exceptional genetic stability and adherence to the highest breed standards. Each bird imported from his lines represents a culmination of decades of passion, dedication, and precision.
