Cornish & South West Gloster History & Hopes
Cornish and South West Gloster Club has been established since 1981 ….. 43 years … Doesn’t time fly.
Not bad for a small group almost at the most southern point of the UK mainland.Â
This year we will have a show on the 24th November, which will be our 40th show.Â
The club has grown over the years, however we remain a small club and would love to expand our members.Â
The club was built by many however the only remaining individuals from the beginning are Mervyn Osborne & Valerie Trewhella.Â
They have been awarded honorary life membership, and remain an active part of the club.
The mantle of the club now falls upon the Varcoe’s to build the future.
This year we are pleased our judge is George Thompson of Southsea [Portsmouth] who will travel the 210 miles of the south coast highways to St Austell.
We would love to get above 300 entries to reflect pre covid times, which would support the show to grow again for the following year.
You can help us to achieve our goals: remember we are part of the British Championship for points to vie for overall champion Gloster exhibitor.
What a beautiful way to spend the last weekend in November down in Cornwall.
