BIRD MOVEMENT UK – EU POST BREXIT UPDATE DECEMBER 2023

There has been social media speculation that the process of movement of birds into and out of the UK might be easing, thereby enabling our EU members to return to competing at IGBA2X

The latest update on the movement of livestock between the EU and UK has been published by  the IOA representative with DEFRA in the 13th December 2023 issue of Cage & Aviary Birds publication.

Regarding potential future Ring Marking changes, Keith Baker – the Ring Steward – is in discussion with IOA on how to retain the IGBA identification on a ring clogged with information .
