As the Worlds Premier Gloster Fancy Canary Association, with members and affiliate societies across the globe, the objective of this website is to provide a communication link to bring  latest Gloster Fancy Canary news and items of interest to everyones attention.  

Permission has been granted to IGBA to use and publish the approved COM Gloster Fancy Canary Standard publication by Jorge Quintas who is also a Gloster Fancy Canary breeder. 

Hot off the press comes the very latest news and publication of the NEW TYPE Canaries Standard for section E as approved at the last COM meeting with particular reference to the Gloster Fancy Canary 

This version is recognised by the COM, all other earlier versions are obsolete. 

IGBA are given to believe that a UK submission to COM for recognition of the GFCC UK  Standard Pictorial has been rejected by COM.

Rather than produce the whole document the section pertinent to the Gloster Fancy Canary has been translated into English by Barbara Rosario (USA), Albert Zomer (Holland) Jorge Quintas (Portugal).
