The Golden D-Cup All Gloster was created and named by a small group of friends who wanted to preserve the Maltese and British connection and the way the Gloster Canary is exhibited.
The strong bond between the two countries, which has a history of 25 years of exhibiting local birds in the British standard show cage, was dented when the black D-Cup drinker was abolished from the Maltese Islands, ironically on the 20th anniversary from its inception.
This move triggered the creation of the Golden D-Cup All Gloster Open Show which saw the standard drinker coming back with a bang, this time even in Gold, Silver and Bronze, three drinkers that are taken home by the winners and runner-up.
Following Bruno Chetta the 2021 judge, will be Fabrizio Ioppolo – Italy for 2022.
